Groupware Technologies
Groupware technologies are the technologies which allow to a group of people to respond or to involve in a similar task. Based on their type of communication these groupware technologies are classified into three types.
1) Direct interpersonal communication
2) ideas generation and decision making
3) sharing computer objects
The direct interpersonal communication supports conversations when the people are at distance using a medium. Many applications are being developed like emails,video conferencing,video phones,computer conferencing,instant mesaging,chat rooms,collaborative virtual environments,media spaces.
email is an electronic mail which is sent via a medium as a means of communication called as internet. Through this technology one can send messages in groups to others where ever they may be provided an internet technology is existed.
video conferencing is
a groupware technology where a group of people communicates them selfs looking each other and feeling to be in the same place virtually even though they are not really.This technology saves time of all the way comming to attend a meeting.this can be done sitting in his office or home.The main disadvantage in this system is the persons should be online in a specific time.

The products have made users interact in a clear way as they would be interacting in virtual environments it makes feel as if the people are in a group together.In future the groupware devices may be developed more for efficient transmission of data.
